Click & Ship

Click & Ship, from a customer’s point of view, means to buy goods online at a retailer’s online marketplace or online shop. The goods are then shipped to the customer directly via home delivery. This service is the most common type of ecommerce and is also called online shopping. Customers pay online via electronic checkout using one of the payment options that are offered by the retailer (for example purchase on account, credit card or paypal) and, in contrast to click & collect and click & reserve, don’t collect the goods themselves. From the retailers’ point of view, the ordered goods can be shipped from a central warehouse or via ship-from-store.
