5.2. Processing for Advertising Purposes
5.2.1 Newsletter
On ourwebsite, you have the option to subscribe to our newsletter. The newsletterprovides information about fulfillmenttools as a company and our currentproducts and services. After submitting the registration form, you will receivea confirmation email. Your subscription will not take effect until you haveclicked the link in the confirmation email. You can unsubscribe from thenewsletter at any time. To do so, simply use the unsubscribe link at the bottomof each email. You cancontact us via the contact form, by email, by mail, or by phone. We processyour data to respond to your inquiry and, if necessary, to send you requestedinformational materials. Your data may be transferred to the departmentresponsible for your inquiry. The legal basis for the data processing describedis Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR (pre-contractual measures, performanceof a contract, or balancing of interests, based on fulfillmenttools’ interestin responding to inquiries).
5.2.3 Contests
From timeto time, you may have the opportunity to participate in contests on our websitethat are advertised through our website. To conduct a contest, we process yourdata (name, email address, mailing address, and, if necessary, other datarequired for the contest). We process your data to verify eligibility, determine and notify the winner, send the prize, and, if applicable, publishthe winner’s name. The legal basis for the described data processing is Article6(1)(b) of the GDPR (conducting the contest).
5.2.4 Recruiting and Job Applications
5.2.4.1 Recruiting
We processyour personal data if we assess you as a suitable candidate for a specific position on the Xing or LinkedIn platform. For this purpose, you will be contacted by our employees via the platform. We record your name and the datewe contacted you internally. If an application process ensues, the provisionsin the following section “Job Application” apply. If you are not interested inthe position offered, we note this internally so as not to contact you again.This information is deleted after 2 years.
The processing is based on the legal grounds of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, whereapplicable, Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG (balancing of interests,based on fulfillmenttols’ interest in recruiting new employees for thecompany).
5.2.4.2 Job Applications
On ourwebsite, you can find out about career opportunities and job openings atfulfillmenttools. If you wish to apply for a job online, clicking on the joblisting will redirect you tohttps://rewe-digital.dvinci-hr.com/de/p/fulfillmenttools/jobs/weitergeleitet.There, you will find an online application system where you can also submit aspeculative application.

We alsooffer you the option of conducting the interview via Google Hangouts videocall. This allows us to reduce personal contact, as requested by the Germangovernment. 5.5 YouTube Embedding
Our website includes videos from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, which are not stored on our servers.
When you visit our pages containing embedded videos, content from the third-partyprovider that hosts the videos is loaded. As a result, YouTube primarilyreceives the usage data technically required in this context. We have noinfluence over further data processing by the third-party provider. However, when embedding the videos, we have ensured that the enhanced privacy modeoffered by YouTube is activated. The enhanced privacy mode ensures that thethird-party provider does not set cookies unless the video is clicked.
The embedding of YouTube videos is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with §25(2)(2) TDDDG (legitimate interest in an appealing website design, publicrelations, and communication).

5.6 Documentationof Compliance with Legal Obligations
To demonstrate that we have complied with your data subject rights, we retainappropriate records of such compliance. In the event of a request for erasure,after reviewing the request and carrying out the erasure, we retain only yourpseudonymized user ID in connection with the erasure request and thecorresponding date. 7. Is data processed outside the European Union?
We also useservice providers located in third countries outside the European Union toprocess your data. Countries outside the European Union handle the protectionof personal data differently than countries within the European Union. There iscurrently no decision by the European Commission that these third countriesgenerally provide an adequate level of protection. We have therefore takenspecial measures to ensure that your data is processed in these third countrieswith the same level of security as within the European Union. When we use third-country serviceproviders, we verify whether the service provider is based in a country forwhich an adequacy decision has been issued by the European Commission, orwhether a service provider based in the United States is certified under theData Privacy Framework. Otherwise, we enter into the data protection agreement(Standard Data Protection Clauses) provided by the European Commission for theprocessing of personal data in third countries and conduct processing-relatedtransfer impact assessments. These measures provide appropriate safeguards forthe protection of your data with service providers in third countries.
8.Retention Period
We generally store your data only for as long as we need it for the respectiveprocessing purposes. If the data is no longer necessary for fulfilling theprocessing purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, it will be deleted,unless its retention is still required to comply with commercial or tax-relatedretention obligations. As a rule, we delete your data after these periods ordetermine the deletion period based on these criteria:
• Dataregarding usage behavior on the website is deleted after 37 months
• Wedelete data collected during participation in a contest three months after thecontest ends. We store the personal data of winners for three years from theend of the year in which the contest ended, based on Sections 195 and 199 ofthe German Civil Code (BGB).
