What is Click & Collect?

Click & Collect refers to the possibility to buy (and pay) goods online at a retailer’s online marketplace or online shop and then pick them up in a retail store. In contrast to Click & Reserve, the customer no longer has to pay for the goods upon collection.

Typically, three types of Click & Collect models are distinguished

Click & Collect In-Store

Click & Collect Near-store

Click & Collect Stand-alone

What are the benefits of Click & Collect?

Time-saving: Customers can conveniently order items from home or on the go and pick them up at a time that suits them.

Cost-saving: Click & Collect eliminates shipping costs, making it an attractive option for price-conscious shoppers.

Flexibility: Customers have the option to quickly pick up their orders and decide when and where they want to pick up their products.

Instant availability: Unlike with shipping, customers don't have to wait for delivery, which is especially useful when products are needed quickly.

Customizable in-store experience: Customers have the opportunity to review their order upon pickup and can purchase additional items if needed.
