Unified Commerce

Unified Commerce

What is Unified Commerce?

Unified commerce describes the technological advancement of omnichannel commerce. This means that all of a company's channels are not only linked to each other, but all of the collected data is brought together centrally and in real time in one system or platform. This enables retailers to create an optimal, seamless shopping experience for consumers, focusing on their needs. At the same time, synergies of the linked channels can be taken into account.

What distinguishes unified commerce from omnichannel and multichannel

In the multichannel approach, multiple channels are used to communicate with customers or sell products. The challenge here is to align all channels with each other. Therefore, an omnichannel strategy goes one step further and unifies the appearance on all channels. However, different interfaces are still required for this. Unified Commerce solves this problem with a central platform.
