Integrating a new tool or software into the existing tech stack is an unpleasant task for many retailers. They spend time and money only to run the risk that their operational business could be affected. After all, you never know whether the connection will work as smoothly as you think it will. As a result, projects are postponed and the technology is not modernized – you are treading water and run the risk of being overtaken by others.
Together with our partner SevData, we at fulfillmenttools are working to prevent this scenario. To make the integration of fulfillmenttools as easy as possible for our customers, SevData is taking on the task of the interface and linking the XChangeHub to our existing APIs. Using the hub as a communicator between our new Order Management System (OMS) and the existing systems, data is translated, transferred and processes are continued – without any changes to the existing architecture or interventions in day-to-day business.
In projects that have already been implemented, for example, delivery bills and orders are transferred from the ERP and warehouse management system to fulfillmenttools. Item stocks and tracking numbers are in turn fed back from fulfillmenttools into the inventory systems.
The solution that SevData has implemented together with us is linked to many different existing systems and is therefore good to go for most use cases. It is a plug-and-play solution for which the developers at SevData and fulfillmenttools work together intensively and hand in hand to offer the customer the fastest and best implementation – this applies to both the implementation and the subsequent support.
The partnership between fulfillmenttools and SevData enables our customers to easily keep their systems up to date and to introduce automation processes in many areas that reduce time and error rates. Orders can be processed with maximum efficiency and end customers receive their orders easily, quickly and correctly.
