At Positive Minds, our development team embraced the exciting challenge of integrating the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) with fulfillmenttools’ Order Management System (OMS). Our previous collaboration with PAPER & TEA, where we successfully developed a Shopify integration, equipped us with valuable experience in working with fulfillmenttools. Now we are focusing on the interaction with Salesforce, a widely used solution in the enterprise B2C segment.

A flexible connector as an accelerator for the integration of Salesforce and fulfillmenttools
The development of the connector includes the provision of cartridges as accelerators, which were specifically designed to facilitate the integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud with fulfillmenttools. These cartridges ensure the availability of essential functionalities while allowing customization to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
The storefront cartridge is based on the SFRA reference application and the in-store pickup plugin. The integration cartridge can be used both for the SFRA and as a basis for development in the PWA reference application.

The connector enables the export of online and Click & Collect orders to fulfillmenttools, including the selection of shipping methods and carriers. In addition to exporting the product lists to fulfillmenttools, we have integrated webhook listeners for various fulfillmenttools events, the seamless storage of all relevant data within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). This creates a uniform data basis and significantly improves response times for events.
